Dull tan but highly carbonated and with a big thick head. A lightly fruity aroma with dusty fruity notes. Highly carbonated mouthfeel. A relatively bland weizen with only a hint of fruity and dust. Finishes slightly sweet and otherwise kind of bland.

Hazy orange golden colour, firm white head. Light banana and yeast aroma, quite malty. Rather sweet flavour, quite malty, light fruity wheat, medium banana. Yeasty finish, light citrus, light banana.
Refreshing Weizen, but a bit too sweet for my taste.

500ml Brown bottle (not a flip-top), best before 14 Dec 2008, drank 24 July 2008. Poured into one of my Franziskaner Weissbier glasses (the only Weissbier glasses I own). It looked a pale German version of this famous style of beer, cloudy, with a huge white head. Lemons, other citrus aromas and vanilla, but none of my favourite Weissbier smell, Bananas! The taste was spritzy, tangy, citrusy and dry, but it lacked something. Grapefruit appeared in the aftertaste, but it just didn’t have the full-on flavours or body of the better beers in this style.
