UPDATED: FEB 1, 2007 Darker golden color, thin foamy head, more malts and much sweet. no beer tasting again.

Bottle: Small airy off white head on top of a clear darker orange colored beer. Smell is so typical for these low/no alcohol brews, malts, oatmeal and some floral, but all very faint. Also smelled something light sweet Taste is a watery mix of malts, herbs and a hint of hops. Medium carbo, light sparkling mouthfeel, low body and watery texture. Had one many years ago, I remember back than I didn’t think this wasn’t that bad for a low/no alcohol beer, little did I know…

Bottle at Cinecenter, A’dam. I actually quite enjoyed this one. It smells rancid, of course, like all non-alc beers with very hoppy and sugary scent. But the taste wasn’t all bad and I actually managed to finish this one. Blame it on my thirst?

(Bottle 30 cl) Beautiful, clear amber with a creamy, off-white head leaving some laces. Very malty aroma. Soft with a distinct, lightly sweet malt - a bit like drinking fluid malt candies. But generally quite pleasant and quenching. Just a wee hint of hops. 301105

Just skunky and nasty, didn’t enjoy this at all. If I have to drive and this is the only alky free beer available, then I’ll settle for soft drinks. Bottle version sampled.

Special because you can drink this all night and just have to get up about 6 times to drain the system. Another No-beer given its ABV. Looks ok and has a faintly hoppy nose but it is in the flavour and mouthfeel that the true character of this beer comes through. What character?

It tastes special. Its very different from Grolsch Lager and thats is the problem with this beer.

A caramel colored beer with a fine white head. The aroma is sour with notes of straw - the sourness probably stems from the lack of alcohol. The flavor is sour with notes of potatoes, hops, and hay. And the body is no surprise thin. I’ll rather have a soda.

A rather nice non-alcoholic brew. It is quite sweet and malty and much caramel. Nice fullbodied.

Much better than other non-alcoholic beers. At least it has something special, like a darker color, more on the caramel side. Not just a pilsener without alcohol or flavors.
