A big head that stops as the glass goes down.Bit like a cross between a wheat beer and a pils with a distinctive floral aftertaste.

Now, there is no reason to add this rating (retired) other than for my own list of “had it” beers.
Hoppy fruit in the nose and sweet hoppy fruit in the taste.

Grolsch Zomer Goud de Vier Jaartijden. can served on a KLM flight. Golden coloyr with a nice white head. Fruity aroma. Flavour is also fruity with a good sweet maltiness and some wheaty touch. Dryish aftertaste.

I found a bottle , vintage 1995. Gold yellow colour, still a light sprankling. Small white head. The aroma is light fruity, with a little bit of sweet madeirisation, not bad aroma, maybe just a littly touch of skunky. Flat palate, no body left, and no finish either. Flat and ’old’ taste.

Straw gol, moderate head. Floral, wheat-like nose becoming spicy and solventy towards the end. Hints of elderflower and citrus in the mouth and a very soft dry finish.

Honey and herbs in the aroma. Sweetish taste with honey and orange.

Smells strange, looks a bit pale. Tastes citrus, light and a bit sweet. Thin.
