Next to the Gröninger Brauerei, not as nice location but the beer is better. Lemonade aroma and flavor. Very yeasty. Yellow trub body with a leggy head. Very refreshing!

Es hat eine orange ins rötliche gehende Farbe die Schaumkrone hält gut. Der Hefige Geschmack ist stark, auch ist es recht fruchtig. Test vom 8.8.2008, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 12,9,11,9,-,9 - 9,63

On tap at the Brewpub in Hamburg, October 1, 2011. Hazy yellow with a large white head. Typical aroma of a German Hefeweizen, though a bit weaker than the very best examples. Wheat, notes of banana, yeast and clove. Drinkable and rather refreshing.

On tap shared with the wife. Slight bananas, malts, bubblegum. Nice and drinkable.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy yellow to orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and slight estery. Fruity, banana and oranges - vague bubblegum estery note. Ends medium dry and persisting fruity.

Tap at the brewpub. It’s unclear, dark-golden with a huge, white and creamy head. The aroma is mild with notes of wheat, banana and light yeast/clove. The aroma is sweet with notes of wheat, light banana and light clove/yeast. It’s mild, but becomes more full-bodied when it becomes warmer.

Cloudy orange with a big white head. Weak clove, yeast aroma. Sweetish, and very drinkable.

Odd Hefeweizen! Sweet and rather bland beer with low esters, some apple-like notes and all in all quite uninteresting. I nearly couldn’t finish my glass...

Draught at Gröninger: Fruity sweet aroma, citrus, cloves. Hazy, dark yellow with light hints of of orange color. Spicy flavor, cloves, hints of oranges, sweet. Ok but nothing special, bit light bodied.

Draught at brewpub. Thin and unexciting beer, sweetness and bananary flavours with lots of cloves. Slightly bitter in the finish which provides a spark of interest - but not much. **NOTE** This place and Groningen are one and the same, not seperate brewpubs!!!

Draught. Weak fruity, green apple aroma. Cloudy, dark golden colour. flavour dominated by green apple. Not very successful and not very close to a Hefeweizen.
