Bottle from Carringtons. Murky orange brown with non-existent head. Very pleasant fruity, sweet aroma with a touch of caramel. Sweet caramel and malt flavour but, even for a Vienna, the body is far too thin. Pleasant but nothing special.

DerWeg (1487) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 3, 2008
Bottle I think from friends in Zeitz. Rocky coarse head leaving large traces, some refined noble hopping and light sweet fruit on the nose and pleasing bitter finish. Possibly a touch skunky or animal. Hint fruitiness in flavor. Enjoyed overall.

Geiserich (3310) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - MAY 24, 2008
Draught: Fresh, yeasty and hoppy aroma. Light amber color, low creamy head, quickly diminishing. Very fruity flavor, hop aromatic, fruity and light herbal. Hints of grain. Dry, herbal bitter finish. Very tasty, fruity and unusual fruity pils.

A very malty beer. Still quite crisp and clean and with a low but delicate hopflavour. Not too bad.
