Bottle. Mildly hoppy, sweetish aroma with pale malts. Amber colored with a short lacing white head. Crisp bite with notes of caramel, flowers, herbs, and a sweet bready malts. Bitterness is faint and constrained to the hoppy aftertaste. Smooth, creamy middle. Unusual.

A very malty beer. Still quite crisp and clean and with a low but delicate hopflavour. Not too bad.

Nice beer in Hamburg but much worse than the Weizen style from my point of view.

33 cL bottle. Pours unclear and golden orange with a fully gone head. Light cornish and dry cardboardish aroma. Sweet malty with a mild cardboardish note. Dry and mild spiced finish.

Golden colour and clear. Has a white head, mostly lasting. Aroma is faint malty. Flavor is mainly sweet. Texture is syrupy.

Pours a reddish amber with a large off-white head that dissipates after some time leaving little lacing. Limited hop character with a smooth malt profile and very limited bitterness. A decent quaffable brew but far from what you want out of a pils.

tap at groninger pub at Hamburg. Aroma kind of fruity. Color orange. Light bitter and a taste of sweetness as well. The body was light and the texture was a bit thin. Overall nice tap beer, combined with some food at the pub. Deffinetly not a standout but very good beer for a "home-made".

On tap at the brewpub, shared with the wife. Malts in the nose. Holy-bread-batman in the sip. Cereals, crust. Interesting.

Bottle from Carringtons. Murky orange brown with non-existent head. Very pleasant fruity, sweet aroma with a touch of caramel. Sweet caramel and malt flavour but, even for a Vienna, the body is far too thin. Pleasant but nothing special.

330 ml bottle in Germany, thanks to Steptin. Vienna’s have never been anything special but here is another one. looks like a nice amber color with an off white lasting head. Most Vienna’s look very nice. Aroma is malt, candy and leather. Taste is leather, metal and vegtables. Has some smokiness as well. Palate is flat and cardboard like. Overall it is not as bad as I wrote.
