Tasted this on the PINT Bok beer festival and I was happily surprised. Very decent Weizen Bock.

On tap at PINT BBF’12. This is a Weizenbock. Hazy golden yellow colour, dense white head. Aroma of banana, clove, light wheaty and grainy, stale. Flavour is also banana, clove, grain, light spicy, hint of metal, light sour wheat. Light bodied. OK stuff.

Tap (PINT BBF 09): Clear, pale golden, bigger stable and lacy firm white foam; sweet pale malt, some hops, combined with a subtle fruitiness in the nose; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; subtle hoppy traces in the moderate bitter-sweet finish. An imperial Pilsener.......

Pours hazy pale yellow with a fine, staying, creamy, egg-white head. Aroma is fruity, apple zest, banana and sweet malt. High prickly carbonation, light and fine mouthfeel. Sweet flavour, malt, light vinious, dry and light grassy hops. Very fine.

On tap at 30e PINT bokbierfestival. Yellow colour. Much foam. Spicy. Taste of coriander, pepper too. Well-balanced. Nice finish. One of four winter bocks the brewer had on tap.
