UPDATED: FEB 19, 2012 Brown bodied and beige head. Raisin, cookie dough and a nice light yeast. A bit underwhelming maybe. Delicious smooth body with rich sweet taste. Excellent mouthfeel. Really underrated. (33cl bottle) (Rating re-indexed)

Pretty boring beer. Nothing really poor, but nothing good either. Carbonation pretty soft for a 7%ABV, but ok.

Bottle 33 cl from Slijterij van Bergen in Eindhoven (NL). Bock clear, bright amber with thick crackling and large collar coolant glass. Sweet nose of malt, apricot, molassea, vanilla, a little alcohol. Taste sweet and bitter, prickly degassing. Soft of malt coated with toffy and molasses and bitter of resin. Note kernel, almond, roasted-bitter and acidulity by alcohol. The body is average and supple, and the spreading grassy hopped.

dutchbeerpages (852) - Wilnis, NETHERLANDS - JUL 18, 2009
Lots and lots of foam that’s nicely uneven. Not a big aroma and it’s surprisingly light for a bockbeer (appearance). Won’t win any awards but it’s a decent beer.
