2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled, alc. 8 % (BB 11/09)
Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo!
Light amber color, small creamy head. Slightly hoppy but strongly buttery, hoppy aroma - like in Czech pils! Bitterish with diacetyl, grass, alcohol, hops, some fruity notes. This is like crossover of malt liquer and Belgian tripel - yes, it is as weird as it sounds.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled (8%). Amber colour with small slightly off-white head, which leaves nice lace. Aroma is a lot of diacetyl (toffee), alcohol and some mild hints of vanillalike notes. I came to think of Urquell because of the aroma. Flavour is bigtime diacetyl, some mild fruits, alcohol and caramel. The diacetyl is so strong, it’s hard to rate the rest of it. Alcohol burns nicely in the aftertaste.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle, 9%. Very vinous and spicy aroma a little alcoholic, actually quite christmassy. Hazy brown colour. Small head. Alcoholic flavour, spicy rum, sugar cane. I quite enjoyed this on a cold day.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
33 cL bottle, thanks to MiP. Pours slight hazy light brown/orange with a lacing white head. Alcohol heavy and barley aroma, light spice note. Flavour is sweet caramel cane sugarish with a distinct alcohol note, almost rum-like without too much thick alcohol mouthfeel. Ends with a lingering light overripe fruit note.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Golden colour, medium white head. It has this distinct aroma of cooked pasta which has been kept too long. The flavour has it as well. I guess its the diacetyl that has been mentioned before. Anyway, this messes the whole thing up of an otherwise drinkable beer.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
(33cl bottle, 8% abv) Clear, deep golden colour with a mid-sized, almost white foamy head. Sweet caramel-malty, chestnutty and subtle fruity aroma with a touch of vanilla and light herbal hops in the background. Light bitter flavour, slim body impression with a moderate carbonation. Malt-accented, slightly cara-malty taste with a rather harsh alcoholic presence from the beginning. Slightly nutty and moderately bitter and alcoholic finish. Not very balanced, reminds me a bit of an European Strong Lager, pretty disappointing.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle. Dark golden color. Butter and toffee in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with pineapple, yoghurt, toffee and rancid butter. Diacetyl all over. What a pity!
