COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Brygget efter en speciel opskrift med blandt andet anis, ingefær, kanel, koriander som tilsammen giver det en frisk og krydderet smag, med let mørk sødme og et let strejf af bitterhed fra humlen fuldender oplevelsen.

Erzengel (1907) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - FEB 12, 2014
Dark brown with a neutral-malty nose. The beer starts a bit sweet and highly drinkable. Slightly bitter in the mainpart. Caramel, lots of malt but still light in body without being watery. The aftertaste is even a bit dry, hints of roast (or burned caramel), a bit dusty-dry, slightly bitter.
Very interesting beer. I like it, but it is still a little bit too sweet. --> 12/13/11/12

500ml bottle courtesy of Erzengel (Gabriel)--Thanks. Pours a dark brown color with a medium beige head that rapidly fizzes away to nothing. The aroma is soft and muted with roasted grains and brown sugar. The taste, like the aroma, features more brown sugar, cola, vainlla and some grains. The palate is full and a bit oily and the carbonation is lively. Finishes short and sweet. Overall: Not bad really, if I was to visit Greenland I’d drink the crap out of this.

Bottle. dark brown color. Brown sugar in the soft aroma. Almost sugary flavor with a hint of caramel. Thinnish. Onedimensionally sweet.

ThirstyBird (1181) - Düsseldorf, GERMANY - JAN 16, 2014
Pours a very dark cola color with a fizzy tan head that quickly disappears to nothing. The smell is roasted malt, fruit, molasses. The taste is really about as it smells - a bit sweet ending slightly dry with the molasses lingering. The body is near medium yet has a watery element to it while the carbonation is less than average while being prickly. This beer needs a bit more personality in my opinion.

Flaska. Kopparfärgad öl med medelstort skum. Svag örtighet, oklar frukt och hö i doften. Smakinslag av örter, melass, honung och frukter. Väldigt söt. Liten beska.

Bottle, 6.0%. Weak spicy aroma, dark malts. Clear dark brown colour. Small stable off-white head. The flavour is sweet, metallic with a strange herbal, papery finish.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy dark copper brown with ruby shades and airy light tan head. Sweet aroma of molasses and malt. Faint flavour of malt with notes of fruit and mollasses. Sourish, mild aftertaste. A weird, unbalanced, and not very interesting thingy.

Douberd (1697) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - OCT 17, 2013
Bottle, 500 ml. Poured into a stemmed glass at home. ABV 6% New country tick. Very dark brown colour on the body, almost black, with dark ruby shades when light happens to pass through it. Thin head, light brown in colour, with low retention and light lacing left on the glass. Aroma of dark malts, faint chocolate, some little spices that smell more like a blend. The spices are more notable on the taste, from the first sip.Laurel, some juniper berries too, actually overpowering everything else. Nice bitterness on the aftertaste. Medium body, okay carbonation. Quite dry on the palate. Overall okay beer and kind of weird too.
