MrManning (1403), London, Ontario, Canada Mar 13, 2008 Clear golden yellow. Grassy, hay, lemony nose with grains. Sweet grains with tonic water and grassy hops with lime is the flavour profile. The finish is slightly watery, but assertive with carbonation. Ok. I expected worse with the clear bottle. Bottle 341 ml. GRM (774), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada Dec 18, 2007 Clear bottle, 341 ml, purchased at Le Grand Duc on November 24 2007, savoured on December 18 2007; eye: blond with a caramel hue, clear, light effervescence, tiny ring of white head; nose: caramel, light malt, corn; mouth: thin, savours are awaited, then a bit of caramel, a bit of bitterness in finale, light acridness, average carbonation, lightly bitter and sweet, medium body; overall: so?

May 10, 2007 Bottle shared with and courtesy of tupalev. Pours a clear bubbly yellow-amber with a small diminishing white head. Aroma of sweet malt, yeast and faint brown sugar. Watery malty flavour along with some grain and hops. Medium bodied. Man, this was nowhere near as bad as we expected. tupalev (2261), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 10, 2007 Bottle courtesy of my good beer hunting buddy - as he said to me, he likes to try and find beers for the first page of my ratings or last page, and this one seemed to be a pretty good candidate for the last page - clear bottle, pig, "Blue Eyes Lager"? Check! Anyway, shared it with Blankboy. Dark yellow, small white head. Slightly grainy aroma, surprisingly not skunky. Taste features light alt adn even some hops, and again, nothing off about it. In fact, as far as pale lagers go, it was drinkable, and better than the lighter offerings from Appalachian we had earlier. Sorry Red, you’ll have to try harder for a crazy crappy beer for me, blue eyes and pig label notwithstanding! Snoro (173), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Apr 24, 2007 Goûte e rien. Ça et un vers d’eau c’est pas loin. Il n’y a pas de danger è en boire beaucoup. Trop faible au goût.
