Bottle from MiP. Pale blonde. Sweetish, malty flavor with orange and the slightest hint of hops. Sweet bread in the aroma. I’m not impressed, this pilsener is too thin and too sweet.

Grassy aroma with citrus and apple. Fairly well hopped, grassy pilsener with notes of yeast and apple.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Schöne sattgelbe Farbe, mittelporige, standhafte Krone. Geruchlich ist Hopfen und Malz sehr leicht zu erkennen. Hält sich eher zurück. Ganz anders der Antrunk. Dominant malzig, nur sehr dezent gehopft. Das Hofgut-Pils ist ordentlich rezent und trotzdem noch gut süffig. Mir kommts vor, als ob das Malzaroma zum Finish hin noch intensiver wird.

Hopfiger Antrunk, der zum Mittelteil von einem stark würzig-getreidigen Teil fast verdrängt wird. Im Nachgeschmack führt der Hopfen wieder, der im Vergleich zur Würze länger anhält. Danke an Malzbonbon für das Bier. Test vom 27.4.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,10,10,12,11,10 - 10,25

Bottle 33cl. Nice golden colour, clear malty taste, hints of sweetness, aromatic hops. Well balanced german pilsener!

Bottle. Sour milk barley malt aroma. Golden yellow color with small head. Nice creamy barley malt flavor with light hops finish. Love the German malt - very nice.

Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt,hop. Flavour is fruit, malt, hop, undefined vegetable. Strange pilsner.

Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of straw and malt - a very fresh aroma. The flavor is sweet and very malty combined with notes of straw, leading to a dry bitter finish. But the body is thin. Thanks Papsoe for this beer.

Bottled. Golden coloured. Malty aroma with some hoppy notes and fruity hints. Sweetish malty flavour with fruity notes and a quite bitter and hoppy finish.

Bottle. (trade w/papsoe) Clear, golden pilsner, small, white head. There’s some strange corn-like aromas in the flavor, as well as some fruit and hints of metal. The flavor is much better, with a pleasant hoppyness and bitterness, but there’s also some cooked vegetables in the background. Pale malt and grain as well. Medium to thin body. Hayish, bitter, slightly metallic finish with some fruityness. If it wasn’t for the strange aroma, it would have been a nice pilsner. Now it is only drinkable, not a beer I want more of. (071114)
