Pours a dull, deep ruby tending to auburn with a substantial but rather loosely packed off white head. Aromas are dominated by honey and caramel with obvious banana and hinting raisins. Palate seems alot more reserved. Caramel/toffee seem to accompany sweet malt with yeasty banana characters coming through. Finish is rather malty with subtleties of liquered raisins.

(Draught at Ölbaren, Copenhagen, 25 July 2008) Dark brown colour with ruby hints, creamy pale brown head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of grain and chocolate. Malty taste with dark fruit, prunes, roasted grain and chocolate. Fairly sweet, but a well balanced and smooth beer. Nice one.
