3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Brewpub ($6): Pours a copper colour with a white head. Aroma is of toffee-like malt and hops. The hop character in this one is pretty good: not really overlly bitter, but nice piny/earthy combo. Leaves some aftertaste. Mild sweetness is apparent in this one. Toffee-like quality is present. I just stopped in for one beer, and I think I made a pretty good choice.

2.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask at MD Craft Brew Festival. Very unusual! Aroma very sweet, sort of like chewed bubblegum infused with hard cider. Murky goldish color. Found the initial taste before first swallow to be very hard to define, but afterwards a scotchish peatiness/earthiness was present.
