A smooth European lager, roasted flavors and moderate hop bitterness. Dark brown color, medium mouthfeel, dry aftertaste. This “Black Pils” has 3 hop additions!

Sampled on tap at Bias/Gruhlke’s on 11/19/2012. Pours a dark brown color with white head. Nutty, toffee, caramel flavors. One of the more drinkable beers from Gruhlke’s, but still very underwhelming.
