E’ un prodotto assolutamente nuovo nato per valorizzare le ricchezze del nostro territorio, realizzato con l’utilizzo di carciofi prodotti in terra di Brindisi e di malto derivante da coltivazione di orzo del territorio salentino. Aroma forte di livieto, corpo basso, lieve gusto di carciofo fresco mediamente persistente. Derivata da Pils Gruit in bassa fermentazione. Colore giallo paglierino, profumo intenso. Birra depurante, antiossidante e che facilita la digestione.
Abbinamenti: tortini, sformati, focacce rustiche, piatti a base di carciofo in tutte le preparazioni.

750 ml bottle from Gruit Brewpub (thanks for the kind gift!). Shared it with my mom and dad who were actually eating artichokes. Pale yellow, quite hazy -some residuals artichokes floaties included- with an average bright white head, not exactly persistent. On the nose artichokes straight away, very very noticeable. Also yeast, fruity esters, bready malts, light biscuit notes. Artichokes taste as well in the mouth, who would have thought ? Quite yeasty, tiny astringency, very light bitterness and no sweetness at all. Just mild and slightly dry. Average carbonation, light to medium body, slightly creamy texture. One of the few beers where I could actually smell, taste (and see!) the adjunct included. Went great with a salami, ham and cheese sandwich. I hate artichokes, but I didn’t hate this beer. Interesting, and as far as I know unique, experiment.
