3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Snifter pour at GT. Heavy bourbon aroma, hardcore. Not real head, just some soapy bubbles around the edge. Mellow, subdued carbonation. THe oaky bourbon really dominates. Thick molasses tones, but a pretty watery body. Licorice. Faded, but still an enjoyable concoction. Might be better less barrel aged.

On tap at brewpub, pours a dark brown with a thick tan head, aroma is of bourbon and sweet malt, the taste has a nice burn of bourbon in the finish with hints of vanilla through out the glass, very nice aged porter. Well done Grumpy Troll.
