Tap. Brown pour with off white head. Smells of toasted malts and slightly nutty. Tastes of caramel, toffee and slight nut. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Has some really nice coffee notes along with chocolate and caramel. Taste is a watered down coffee, kind of disappointing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Medium amber with a moderate head, bits of lace. Taste wants to do SOMETHING, but by the middle of the palate all caramel malt and hops have left the building, and you are left with nice clean water. I canít say itís bad because I canít say itís anything. I expected better from Grumpy Troll.

On tap at brewpub, pours a dark amber/brown with a thin head, the aroma has a nice sweet malty touch to it with some caramel as well, the flavor is middle of the road with some nuts and caramel in the finish, pretty smooth overall though, not bad at all.

Deep amber-orange with brown hues. Aroma of lightly burnt toast and some nuttiness. Flavor is wonderful nutty toasted biscuit with the faintest of roast character. Lingering toast/biscuit. Very nice brown.
