Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear golden amber with a white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces thickly. Aroma has notes has noted of light grapefruit and pine with a bit of backing bread. Flavor begins with grapefruit backed by grains and has a bit of tropical fruit in the finish.

Enjoyed on tap as part of a sampler at Grumpy Troll in Mt. Horeb, WI. Appearance is a darkish clear brown with a thin but frothy white head. Aroma of citrus hops, could be amarillo, has a unique quality, smells light but pronounced. Taste is really good, smooth with light bitterness, nice and balanced but tips more towards the citrusy hops. Good stuff.

On draught at the Grumpy Troll brewpub in Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear golden amber colored brew with a slowly dissipating off-white head that leaves some spotty lacing and a thick white ring. Aroma of cascade hops, a hint of tangerine and light caramel malt. Taste is medium bodied, well balanced cascade and amarillo hop character with a caramel malt base beer. Finish has a short mild bitterness followed by some sweet grapefruit and tangerine aftertaste.
