COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Big, bold, and British! O.G. 1080, 100 IBU’s, AbV 8.5%. She is amber/copper in color with a strong persistent head. An intense hop aroma is deliverd by copious amounts of English Styrian Gold and Kent Goldings hops. She is full bodied with a strong sweet malty toffee/caramel backbone that supports the 4.3 pounds of hops per barrel making her a very bitter, but delectible woman.

This pours a cloudy copper orange color with an off-white head. The aroma is a mixture of hops and citrus. The taste is smooth, rich, with a lot of hops mixed with citrus and caramel malts. Finish pleasantly dry. This is an all-around good beer.

Has an off caramel bitter scent, taste is similar to the scent but it has a little sweeter caramel/toffee scent and a huge burn that was a little unpleasant. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber with a near white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces nicely. Aroma has a nice combo of grapefruit and pine with a grain backbone. Flavor begins with grapefruit that transitions to a bitter pine note with a bit of a light grain backing.

Enjoyed on tap as part of a sampler at Grumpy Troll in Mt. Horeb, WI. Appearance is a cloudy caramel brown thin white head. Aroma unique english hops, light fruit, bit of malt, bit of yeast. Taste is pretty good, light burn, bit of fruit, rich in malt and hop, tastes more like a red. Pretty good.

Tap at the brewpub. Semi-hazy orange pour with a thin white head. Mild citrus hop nose. Medium thin palate. Slightly unbalanced citrus hop flavor.

I actually didn’t even know it was a DIPA when I tried it. It is a pretty tame DIPA.

Arrived a cloudy yellow/orange color with a quick fading white head. Light alcohol heat in the nose, sweet overall with a light citrus nose with a strong earthy note. Flavor has a very strong hot alcohol presence up front. Mild earthy and light orange citrus kick in the middle. Finishes with a continuance of the strong alcohol flavor, very much like rubbing alcohol. Body is light, coming from the alcohol lightening it up a bit too much and almost feels as though its drying out your tongue. Overall minus the alcohol hurt, not too bad of flavors present. But that rubbing alcohol kick really makes it hard to drink more than one of.

On tap at brewpub, I’m hoping I got a bad batch or something because this was not what I expected, pours an unclear orange color with no head, aroma is more malt than hops and the flavor is much of the same, very thick and not very enjoyable, hardly no hop notes to it. I’ll have to go back and give this one another shot.

A nice IPA. This beer pours a orange color with a big white head. Lots of lacing around the glass that sticks throughout. Smell is floral with hops and citrus. A very smooth taste of citrus and hops. Good stuff!
