3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brewpub 7/3/10: Pours a clear deep bronze amber with a thin ring of wispy white head. Has a sweet wheaty and grainy pale malty nose with some grassy hay and clove notes. Starts with good fullness and light wheaty sweetness and a unique hay flavor and mild bitterness with some yeasty esters and clove spice before a drier finish with a touch of funk. A pretty unique brew but could be a little cleaner tasting.
