3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On draught at the brewpub in Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear dark copper amber colored brew with an averagte sized off-white head that slowly dissipates to a thin white head. Nice lacing throughout. Aroma of citrus and grapefruit zests overall, some golden and multi-grain malts, and a touch of caramel. Taste is mostly bitter of a typical IPA. Medium bodied, some light carbonation with flavors of grapefruit and some multi-grain malt. Finish continues the sharp bitterness with a lingering grapefruit aftertaste. It’ll definitely keep the hopheads happy.

Nice tan head, copper colored. Sweet and citrusy aroma. Lots of hop flavors, slight sweetness. Medium bodied, bitter finish. I like this one.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewpub 7/31/09: Pours a transparent orange bronze with a well-lacing frothy white head. Aroma of fresh resiny grapefruity hops and lightly sweet pale maltiness. Starts with decent body and a grassy grapefruity hoppiness well-balanced with good malt presence before a crisp citrusy bittersweet finish. A pretty good IPA.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tap at the brewpub. Golden pour. This was off right from the start, buttery and not very pleasant, flavor was the same, couldn’t get by the butter (scotch). Must of been the line or something after loking at the two other ratings.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Murky amber with very little head, but the little that was there left a glass-coating lace for as long as it lasted, so the scant head was probably the barman’s choice. Aroma is pronouncedly floral, with caramel elements bringing up the tail. Flavor leads with hops bitterness. The aromatic hops elements are very floral, something like rose-geranium jelly, superimposed on a malt syrup sweetness. Slight peach fruity flavor, Palate is creamy but somewhat on the flat side. A tasty, uniquely floral IPA.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Amber pour with a thick white head. Juicy floral hops dominate the aroma. Citrus and floral hops in the flavor, just a hint of a caramel background. Very creamy mouthfeel with a long lasting bitter finish.
