This Bavarian styled wheat beer is straw colored, malty, sweet, and very lightly hopped. It has a unique flavor profile reflecting hints of clove, apple, banana and lemon.

Banana spice lemon and orange dominate this guy on both the nose and tongue. Not bad for the style. Had this as part of a flight at Grumpy Troll in Mount Horeb, WI.

Bottle. A clear one, dark golden in color and with a dense, white head of finger-thick size. Quite fruity aroma with a sourish orange- and banana touch. Some sourish citrus juice in the flavor, with a generic fruityness, some banana and a spiced hint. Medium to thin on the palate, dry and lightly acidic. Lasting finish. Well, sure not my favorite wheat beer, even though there’s some sweetness going on which I doubt should be there and that’s probably the most interesting about this beer. 141219

This pours a cloudy, golden yellow color with not too much of a head. There is a slight citrus and wheat aroma. The taste is light and thin with grains and lemon flavors. This makes for a very easy drinking summer beer but it could use a little work as its kind of light and thin in the flavor.

22oz bottle purchased at the brew pub, split with the wife. Pours a hazy, golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is banana and clove. A little thin on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor is sweet, wheat, a little yeast, clove, banana, a hint of bubblegum, with a light yeasty finsh. AnOK wheat beer.
