COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Malted wheat, Pilsener malt and a carefully added proportion of Citrus Honey give us a clean and crisp light flavoured ale ideal for those who prefer an easy drinking beer.

UPDATED: MAR 13, 2010 12-Nov-2006 (Grumpys Draft) - Sweet citrus hop aroma. Yellow hefe like colour, good small retaining head and sheet lacing. Slight ash and light malt flavour, low on fruit character. Bitter, tangy finish and a hint of roasted burnt malt. This ashy character seems to be in each of the 5 beers I tasted this day.

Pale dull looking almost yellow body with a short head. Honey is in there but it is not doing much for me. Floury and floral aroma and not alot of wheat characters in the taste.

Pale, clear, OK head. Fruity lime character vaguely like a Riesling (presumably from the honey) which is dominant yet subtle at the same time and never over the top. Light wheaty flavour - very fresh with a slight fruity tartness. No hop character, but well-balanced. Light and dry and very refreshing, even on a freezing cold July day in the hills. Very nice with a very distinctive flavour. It probably deserves a higher rating for overcoming the limitations of the style but it just doesn’t have enough guts to get a real high score.
