Chocolat aroma with a hint of licorice and a little yeasty. Cloudy, dark brown color, light brown beautiful head, fair lace. Licotice flavor with chocolat, bit roasted and some bitterness in the end, soft.

30 cl. bottle. Pours deep brown with a creme head. nice yeasty aroma. Flavour is smoky roasted malts with some but not too much caramel. Medium carbonation and a slighty bitter aftertaste as common in a good bock.

2011 - 11 - 04 300ml bottle dark brown colour. medium creme head. low carbonation. roasty caramel aroma. medium bitter, low sweet taste.

Pours a nice brown color. Nice bockbeer with a sweet, fruity flavor and very yeasty. Pretty enjoyable.

Nice local specialty, good bitter taste, some drop, bit of caramel and snoep. Pretty red color, white foam.

Black pour with a large tanned head which collapses into a perfect scaled down version of the Alps. Nice. Aroma is blackberries, cassis, malt and lemonade. Flavour is very full of bitter liquorice ans smoke with a hint of sweet fruit. Very nice.

Hazy mahogany with a huge beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and toffee. Flavour was fairly dry with roasted malt, caramel, grassy hops and breadish notes. Finished dry and bitter.

Pours deep chestnut, almost black. Small, lightly creamy, off-white film head. Aroma is sweet, malty, some caramel. Medium carbonation, okay rather dry mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly spicy, sweet at first, quite a lot of liqourice, malt. Fine dry finish with some berries.

0.3 l bottle. Hazy mahagony color. Sweet aroma with strong raisin and plum note as well as some solvent. Malty sweetish flavor with toffee, raisins, plum, chocolate and licorice. Full bodied. Hint of alcohol sharpness. OK Dutch bock.

Alcohol too overpowering for my taste and it’s also quite bitter. Smell is great with chocolate and banana, foamy head is nice to bite in. One of the better Grunn beers, but hard for your insides.

300ml Bottle - Very dark brown, with a foamy tan head and some red tinges. Roasted and malty aroma with hints of dried fruit. Malty and slightly spicy taste, with some fruity and roasted elements. The finish is malty, fruity, sweet and slightly chewy.
