The head is small, white and fizzy, the duration is normal. The body is clear, yellow and fizzy. A light body, light creamy with a lot of carbonation. The finish is light metallic. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Feb 3, 2008 Bottle, 5%. Lemony and citric aroma, some sewer. Clear golden colour, fizzy white head. The flavour starts off quite sweet, but quickly turns dry. Has the unpleasant bitterness of cheap macro lager. The flavour is also citric with rough carbonation. Seems they have done their best to copy all the bad things in a pale macro lager. Maria (6167), Thisted, Denmark
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Dec 12, 2007 Straw, hazy with a moderate head and a malty/hoppy aroma. The flavour is mild, actually watery, it’s uncomplicated but boring and uninspiring... altonbrownd (1891), Amsterdam, Netherlands
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 21, 2007 Bottle at home. Medium gold color, fast-receding head. Skunky nose. Bitter and watery pilsener with nice texture, that pops. Also quite sweet with light finish. JorisPPattyn (5167), Antwerpen, Belgium
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 14, 2007 Very fine, disparate white head over very carbonated yellow-golden, clear beer. Slightly sourish, hay, slightly decaying hay, putteke - as the St. Martinus, but less outspoken. Bitterish, faintly spicey taste over more hay, grain, grassy. It’s indeed sourish, in the taste too, but every sip runs out bitterish, nearly hoppy. Still underneath, there’s a sweetish malty flavour. The problem with this beer is that instead of sourish, bitterish and sweet achieving balance, they counteract each other, near clashing. Light, slight grist slickness. I wonder what the difference is with the St. Martinus - if any. HenrikSoegaard (4327), Randers, Denmark
