COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Grunn Amber is a full and malty beer with refermentation in the bottle. The use of different roasted malts gives this beer its full taste. The use of hops is clearly visible in this beer, which is brewn by the rules of the Bavarian 'Reinheitsgebot'.

30cl bottle at home. Clear amber brown with a small slightly off-white head. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Bitter with some sweet tones. Caramel, brown sugar, herbs, dark fruits and some spices. Not the best brew, way too watery for my taste.

Bottle, 300 ml, thanks to ShivanDragon! Poured into a large tulip glass. ABV 5.5% Deep caramel colour on the body, crystal clear, with a thin line of off-white foam on top with low retention and no lacing on the glass. Aroma ofsweet caramel malts. Taste is also very malty, sweet, with caramel and iron notes. A touch of bitterness appears on the aftertaste after quite long time. Very thin body and low carbonation, almost watery. Nothing special here.

Clear dark amber, light beige head. Pilsener like aroma. Taste is malty, Itís a bit like a sweet pilsener with the malts being just a bit roasted. Not sure what to think of it. Itís ok I guess.

Pours a amber beer, clear liquid and white head. It smelled like resin and honey. The taste was light bitter and sweet. The body is light. Thin sticky and dry texture with an average carbo.

An uninspiring amber, though its hard to really impress with this style. Correct color, it has that going for it.

Couldnt find anything interesting in this beer. It was not bad...but its not worth of remembering it. I only bought them to pay my respect to the Groningen local beer scene.
