2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 tmrmwel (235) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAY 7, 2012
Can. Pours light yellow, with a decent, creamy head. Aroma is not too good, and almost seems a bit off with notes of bread and cardboard. Flavour is ok though, and is nicely balanced with good buttery malts and a crispy hoppines.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 Palme (1437) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 27, 2011
0.5l can - expired 6 months ago. This is a clear golden beer - some unfiltered sediments here and a quickly fading and thinly sidesticking off-white head. Definitely some hops in this aroma and some almost fruity-metallic hints in here as well. Not to bad. There’s still some carbonation in this senior and the mouthfeel is light oily to watery. Flavors clearly getting a bit old, but still possible to taste some hops here. Unfortunately lots of metallic flavors in both finish and aftertaste. Perhaps a bit rude of me to rate a beer that’s way over the date when it was meant to be drunken, but I’m sure this could have been a nice lager fresh. Will give it a new round if I see it again.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 visionthing (532) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 19, 2011
Can, from Meny Vollebekk. Pour pale yellow with a white head. Sweet and fruity with very little hops. Some traces of herbs and bitterness, but pretty close to the average Norwegian industrial lager. A bit thin and watery. Drinkable, but boring.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Alexus (150) - Stavanger, NORWAY - OCT 21, 2011
An OK pilsner. Not a headturner. It’s not wothy of it’s name, cause it’s a tad sweeter than the regular "Herlige Lervig Pilsner". And there’s not a big difference between them. All in all, a standard norwegian lager. Works good as thirst quencher.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20 ClubGonzo (1979) - Bergen, NORWAY - OCT 14, 2011
Can, from Meny Vika, Oslo. Pours a pale golden body with a medium creamy snow white head. Aroma is grains, pale malts and hints of dusty hops and some fruit far in the back. Taste is cereals, pale malts, mild dusty hops and hints of honey. Not too bad for a Norwegian pilsener, but I somehow expect more from Lervig.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Tequilakongen (291) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 27, 2011
Not much taste to start out with, but some fruits is noticeable. Actually, the finish might be the most prominent feature, which has some bitterness to it and a touch of sour fruits. There was a great difference in taste as the beer became warmer, and it really grew on me. Fruity aroma. Very pale colour, it hardly formed a head. (50 cl can)
