11.2 oz bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with a 2 cm foamy white head that is slowly diminishing. Aroma of lemon and wheat. Initial flavor is light, sweet, and citrusy. Flavor balances out in the end with the citrus still there but balanced with the wheat. Light body, mild carbonation, moderate lacing, light on alcohol. Overall ok for a witbier, not my favorite genre, maybe worth a try.
3.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 ontheroad (30) - Buffalo, New York, USA - JUL 17, 2008
Has a cloudy straw color and a fair head. Not much aroma, but a nice smooth citrus flavor with a mildly bitter finish.

Pours a glowing cloudy yellow, with a thick, soapy lace - aroma of mild lemon, complex notes of wildflowers and lightly bitter herbs, and an underlying yeasty and wheaty character - very soft, almost creamy mouthfeel - the flavor is a bit tart up front, with notes of lemon and some melon rind - develops a very mild character of bittering herbs in the middle - finishes with the expected spices, grainy/wheat flavor, a little bit of a chalky quality - not all I was hoping for, but a decent wit.

Poured a murky golden color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of dough, coriander, citrus fruits, orange peel, and wheat. Taste was chewing, with wheat, earthy yeast, light spices, and citrus fruits. Chewy mouthfeel. Solid witbeer here, thanks for sharing Ed!

Pours a hazy yellow with a medium bubbly white head. Aroma of a bunch of citrus, tart wheat notes, coriander, some other spicy notes...really nice Wit nose. Flavor of some tart wheat, lemon, touch of coriander and other spicy notes. A little sweet yet thin. But still a nice Wit overall.
3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Drake (5231) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - JUL 9, 2008
Bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville. Hazy lemon yellow color. Thick head produces nice lacing. Big wheat aroma with hints of citrus ans spice. Very smooth texture and taste. Citrus is heavy in the taste with a spicy and grainy finish. I’m not usually a fan of this style, but this is a good one.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Immy (1948) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - JUL 7, 2008
11.2 oz bottle. Cloudy lemon pour with a fluffy white head that descends somewhat rockily. Lightly sweet, mild nose of lemon, clove and a bit of dust. Body is the light side of medium, good carbonation. Mild citrus flavors, mostly lemon but tinged with a hint of grapefruit. A bit of clove. Dries up a bit in the finish, making a clean exit. I actually really liked this as a summer drinker. Well done.
