Scrapersnbeer (1469) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 11, 2014
Spicy grain and white pepper hop aroma. Hazy blond aroma, looks like a wit but the Gruut wit is pale as a ghost. Herbal hops, honey sweetness, and again with the pepper for the flavor. Dry as you would guess, with a strange hairy after presence. Might drink it again, unlikely ever to see it again.

From tap. Pours a hazy dull yellow with a thick bone-white head. The smell is spice, light malt sweetness, honey. The taste is similar to the nose. The body is a light plus while the carbonation is tight and soft.

Bottled, BB 10/01/15, large sample. Clear golden color, medium frothy white head. Aroma of some hop, spicy belgian yeast, bit peppery, hint of grainy malt. Bit sweet in taste, slight corn, bit watery, slight dry. In the finish quite spicy as well. Average belgian styled beer. There is way better around.
