Cloudy yellow beer, clears up a bit on warming up. White creamy head, solid and adhesive with nice lacing. Aroma: spices, coriander, citrus, I’d like to add hoppy, but it’s supposed to be brewed without any hops. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: bit citric start, then quite a lot of spices, liquorish, cloves, peppery, bit of malts, little sweet, bitter spiciness. Aftertaste: little watery, citrus (or is the carbon fooling me?), anise, touch of vegetables, herbs, little bit of sugar.

#1296 draught; nose is flowers, little rosehip, some elderflower, sweet subtle alcohol, feel is medium, carb is mediumheavy, taste is decent soap, citrus, sweet lemon, toast, later weak leaves, dry hops

Hazy golden color, with a large white head. Aroma malts, bit yeast, sweet, some spice. Medium body.
Taste sweet, some yeast, malts. Dry end. Regular blond.

Bottled, thanks SaintMatty! Cloudy golden, rich firm head. Fruity nose with some orange and almondy yeastyness. MIld and creamy. Mid drywith medium body and slight spicy bitterness. Slight marzipan and grain flavours. Altogether pleasant.

Hazy blond body. White, rocky head. Fresh aroma of hops and flowers, the hop aroma is quite sharp. There is also some spicyness in the aroma (pepper). Moderately bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Quite nice. The aroma is very nice, but the flavour is quite dull. No complexity, badly balanced.

UPDATED: MAY 8, 2009 Draught @ brewpub Fully hazy, straw-yellow beer with very stable, dense yellowish-tinted head, leaving textbook lacerings. Fresh-malty, very grassy, even greenmalt, inviting - hints at white candi sugar. Pilsnermalt flavour, grassy and extremely fresh. Yeasty esters, bit meaty even. Faint spicy, especially retronasal - no more traces of sugar. Well-bodied, long lasting flavours, always young. Individual spices not traceable, hops are not missed. Nice - worth trying (if you can find the brewery)...

Bottle. Aroma has notes of white grapes, white fleshed fruits, cereal, and citrus. Medium golden hue with a large white head that mostly diminshed and left some lace. Flavor is medium sweet and lightly bitter. Palate is light bodied and watery soft. Overall a very refreshing brew that is very sessionable. Really liked it.

Picked this up at Dranken Geers, Belgium, 31-10-09 Pours light gold with a white head. Some creamy vanilla, there is candy sugar showing, but little else, despite this I rather liked it. A6 A4 F7 P4 Ov14 3.4

Bottle from Bierzwerg. BBE 09/2012. Poured somewhat hazy golden with a creamy white head. Aroma contains spices and malt and some fruity notes. Flavor is sweet malty, yeasty and fruity. Very mouthdrying, bitter finish. Good enough, could well try this one again.
