(bottle, 33cl, 8.5% abv) Slightly hazy, golden colour with a big foamy white head. Slightly bready malty aroma with delicately grainy spots, accompanied by fruity notes of lemon and ripe pears. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Bready, slightly biscuity malty taste with fruity notes and mildly yeasty spice; moderately sweet malty and fruity finish with a dangerously muted alcoholic strength. 31.VIII.13

Bottle: Label says 8.5% ABV: Served in a Chouffe glass: Bright yellow pour. Medium to bigger sized fairly airy white foamy head that though it’s airy disappears slowly. The body is bright yellow colored and has a cloudy part which comes out at the end... Aromas of soap, hay, grains, wheat, soapy hops, some malts and hints of citrus and cardboard. Flavours of spices, bitters, grains, earth, glue, light citrus, some hay and grass, some apples, more yeast, hint of honey but put to the back but the close to nasty bitterness and spicy tones... Overall close to nasty bitter, spicy and alcohol, notthe best in this mix. Tastes just like an Imperial Pilsner... Pity. Aftertaste bitter, spicy, grainy, malty, alcohol, hay and yeasty. Low to medium carbo, creamy mouthfeel, medium to fuller body and a creamy texture. Unbalanced and seems to end up in a mess... Strange to nasty bitters, to much alcohol to detect and a grainy taste that is a bit strange... I like the idea of this brewery and I am not here to bash breweries, but don’t call your beer Inferno if it is not spicy or balanced... Was expecting something completely different!

Dorée-ambrée, pétillance abondante, col blanc crémeux. Epicée avec des notes de miel et un rien de fruits. Rien d’infernal dans cette Inferno!

Bottle @ De Hopduvel, Gent. Pours hazy yellow with a medium, frothy, white head. Aroma has lemon, wheat, doughy. Medium carbonation, dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has lemony hops, grainy wheat, light doughy, quite vinious and warming. A bit too rough.
