Pearl white head, near-clear amber body, some lacework. Aroma; malts n hops, fruity style. Taste; hops, resin, bitter, citrus peel, smoke, roasted malts, barbecue elements. Full body, good balanced carbonation. Finishes with grapefruit peels, barbecue oil, ashy malts, bitter smoky. Better drinking this than smoking, enjoyed in a friendly atmosphere. Bottled. Pours golden with a big white head. Smells sharp fruity, canned fruit, parfume. Tastes funky grassy hoppy, stale with a similar finish.

Gylden farge, medium skum.

33cl bottle from Vinmonopolet. Pours close to clear amber with an off-white head. Mild hoppy and fruity aroma with malt and caramel. Rather anonymous and mil in flavours. Somewhat sweet, but with a fairly balanced bitterness. Fair enough, but nothing I feel the urge to drink again. (2014-06-07)

(Bottle). A somewhat unpleasant smell of butterscotch and caramel malt. The taste is a bit thin with flavors of caramel malt and hops. The finish has hints of pine and citrus. In my mouth tastes the beer much like an English IPA, which makes the information text on the beerlabel odd because there the brewery writes that they brewed an American IPA !?

0.33l bottle from late Dec 2013. Not much of a head on this one. Trying to force something by pouring it a bit hard, but all I get is a tiny islandy big bubbly off-white not to good looking top. The beer is cloudy and a tad darker than what I had imagines. Almost amber - copper in color. Smells nice and sweet. Lots of malty caramel here, strong tones of pine and pineworks. Sweet fruits also found here. Definitely an English style IPA when considering the aroma. It’s well bittered. The sweetness in the aroma is replaced with a super piney mouthdrying bitter flavor. It has a thin oily almost gliding mouthfeel and it’s really soft on the bubbles. It seriously dries my mouth this. I get lots of pine, some fermented nectar from old fruits and a little bit of birch juices. Well, not completely mine kind of IPA. Had hoped for something else, but it’s definitely drinkable. 13.03.2014
