[ Courtesy of Maria ]. Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, paper notes. Flavor is light to moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20081218]

Feinherber Antrunk, abgerundet und leicht blechern. Die Herbe wird stärker, der Hopfen blickt zudem durch. Nicht unerwartet wird das Bier kurze Zeit später bitterer, dennoch ist der Hopfen noch stärker. Harmonisch und angenehm ohne plörrige Aromen, die bei Billigbieren oft vorhanden sind. Überraschend gut! 9/11/11/10/8/11

It is golden with a white head and the aroma has notes of malt and light hay. The flavour is rather weak, but it has a refreshing, dry bitterness and notes of grass, straw and malt and the finish is dry. Neither good nor bad.

Bottle form a Netto in Zwickau. Clear golden pour, lighter than their Export, whiter head. Still has a smell of corn and mash, but the funk is slightly different. Sweaty socks, maybe? Thinner than the Export, which is to say pretty thin, no characteristics of a pilsner , watery and nasty. Feel like my insides need a shower.
