Drank from a bottle at the 20th Mondial de la Bière, May 30, 2013. Pale blonde little head. Aroma of pale malt, light citrus. Taste of dry citrus cereals, slightly sour, little bitterness. It is good when you are thirsty in Chile!

Bottle. Pours a very hazy amber with a large and rocky tan head. Aromas of piney hops, nuts and caramel. Nice and lasting bitterness. Watery feel with high carbonation. Overall a decent and enjoyable Chilean pale, but I wouldn’t go looking for it.

Bottle. Fruity and slightly yeasty aroma. Cloudy amber colour. Extremely big light brown head. The flavour is roasted and caramelly with a hint of smoke. Even liquorice in the finish. Does not seem entirely intentional but tastes all right. Fruity finish with a quite high bitterness. Decent homebrew, but nothing spectacular.

Bottle from an acquaintance whohas just returned from Chile. Pours hazy amber with gigantic, rocky but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, with notes of yeast and caramel and some fruity touches. Hints of hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with notes of caramel malt and touches of bread and fruit. Low carbonation. Estery and slightly bitter aftertaste. Watery but not that bad.

Ruddy pour, foamy tan head. slightly fruity, malty aroma. Flavor is fruity with notes of caramel, nuts and toffee. A bit over carbonated. Not bad but not a pale ale.

350ml bottle - Backstage (Patio Bellavista), Santiago. Poured a clear, dark amber with a lasting and lacing off’-white to beige head. Lightly piney, resinous hops, some grass and pleasant mid to tropical fruits. Light to medium body, medium carbonation and an enduring hoppy finish. Decent stuff all told so perhaps a fresher example than previous raters had sampled.

Copper color, good foam.
Good fruitiness, subtle hops( grapefruit) malt, notes of caramel & vanilla. Good yeast influence. Medium body & complexity.
Good bitterness, well balanced.

Bottle found in a minimarket on Easter Island. Pours a dark amber colour with a small beige fast dissipating head. Aroma is malty, grainy with very soft noble hop aroma. Notes of peaches, pears, grains and tart apples. Flavor is mildly tart and bitter, soft, a little watery. Starts with fruity hints of apples and camomille ending with more fruity tartness. It promises something but never really gets there. Light bodied, lively carbonated, short finish. Watery texture. A different alternative to Kunstmann Torobayo in the Chilean beer scene, but less refined. Needs some tweaking.
