500ml bottle. Clear dark mahogany color. Bready, caramel, malty aroma. Sweetish, caramel, very faint hops in flavor. Smooth, but somewhat crisp texture. Quite enjoyable.

Nors alus jau ne kartą ragautas, bet visą laiką tai pasitaikydavo primestinai, neturint laiko įvertinti. Na bet ramiai nusipirkus sulamdytą skardinę (kitokių nebuvo, visa lentyna subaladotų skardinių), ir įvertinus blaiviu skrandžiu - 4/5/5/5/5=24. Ir tai pasako viską... "Gubernijai" reiktų mesti tuos visus lagerius ir pradėti gaminti tikrą alų-eilą!

The head is ok, the body dark brown. It smells darkmalty, aromatic, interesting. The taste is mild, less CO2, darkmalty, aromatic. The aftertaste is darkmalty. Good 11/10/10/10/-/10
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 rauchbier (3394) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - FEB 11, 2013
Can, from an ethnic food store in Scunthorpe. Chestnut brown, thin but lasting off white head and gentle condition. Gentle burnt toffee sweetness and buttery caramel in the nose, quite soft sweet and peppery in the mouth with a slightly woody oxidation note and a touch of earthily bitter chalkiness, finish is briefly bitter with a sweet burnt malt note lingering
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Quack-Duck (6811) - Down South, GERMANY - JAN 14, 2013
bottle, thank you kevnic2008! Chocolate brown colour (hazy?), creamy beige head. Aroma of roasetd malts. Full-bodied, pleasantly malty and slightly sweet with lots of chocolate and a touch of caramel and dried fruit. Very moreish.
2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Senka (117) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - OCT 3, 2012
33cl art drink series bottle. Freshly brewed. Strong cask brew aroma, which is exceptionally rare for Baltic states. Nice cherry red colour, clear with no head at all. Flat. Alcohol is not hidden well in this one, and it feels like fortified beer to me. Not the best example of Brown Ale, but rather good beer from Lithuania.

Pours brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma is chocolate malts, cocoa, a little earthiness.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Cokemonkey11 (17) - - JUL 6, 2012
1/3 Liter small bottle, Maxima XX. Smells like rootbear and vodka, but looks very nice with a brown/cherry hue. Tastes like kvass with a bad alcohol-intense aftertaste. For such a weak review though, actually this beer is quite reasonable and tasty.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 FatPhil (7494) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 19, 2012
500ml bottle (Iki, Vilnius)
Fairly dark red-brown. Aroma is mainly caramel with red berry, or other dark berry, sweetness, there’s some purple grapes too. A simple boring body, sweet and caramelly, obviously. No sign of 5.9%, but that doesn’t make it good. Dull and sweet. Aiming at the paler side of the baltic porter side, I think, but basically just a rich sweet dunkel.
