1/3 Liter small bottle, Maxima XX. Smells like rootbear and vodka, but looks very nice with a brown/cherry hue. Tastes like kvass with a bad alcohol-intense aftertaste. For such a weak review though, actually this beer is quite reasonable and tasty.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Stas. Hazy copper-brown, honey, nettle and some vinegar aroma, sweet and mildly bitter taste. Medium body, mildly carbonated.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Stas. Clear amber. Aroma of malt, caramel, a bit of butter and a bit of cardboard. Sweet flavor, caramelly, with a slightly bitterish finish. Light to medium-bodied.

500 ml can. BB 25/04/15. (Iki) Pasvalys, Lithuania. Hazy brown colour with a small frothy light tan head. Caramel malt, butter scotch, fruits, sugary sweetness, brown sugar and bread in the aroma. Surprisingly nice. The flavour is bready malty with lots of sweetness, brown sugar and more bread. A bit ordinary flavour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Canned 500ml. -from Iki supermarket Vilnius. Dark amber/brownish coloured, small pale beige head that stays for a while, caramel in the nose. Toasted malt, dried fruits and caramel with notes of chocolate and light spices. Surprisingly pleasant and not loaded with sugar.

50cl can from Maxima, Vilnius. Pours clear chestnut coloured with a tan head. Malty aroma with lots of caramel, some bready notes and hints of spices. Sweet and reminds me a little bit about kvass, but a bit too much on the sweet side for my taste. Certainly flavourful and quite nice, but not quite my cup of tea.

Drinkable caramel malty brew. Bit bready, some choco, nuts. Sweet with light bittersweet finish. Bit too watery, but still enjoyable... mostly as dark thirst quencher. Decent price/performance

500ml can, kindly shared by djoeye. Decent off-white head over a clear, red-brown. Spotty lacing. Promising aroma of dried fruits, berries and slightly roasted malts. Caramel malts and dried fruity flavours, rather jam-like. Roasted malt bitter ending. Medium bodied. Nice and not too sweet. Best of the evening sampling beers from Lithuania (Tromsø 17.01.2014).

500 ml alu-can 5.9%abv b@supermarket in Marijampole Lithuania. Off white head. Red body, to the red brown side. Scents of caramel, confectionery, sweet roasted malts, old pale wild cherries. Tastes malt, jam, fruit, roasted malt, dark syrup, cinnamon. Full bodied, good to palate. Finally the taste continues, with hints of apple. Overall really tasty stuff this. Tamsusis = dark, elis = ale. Enjoyed@BalticRateMeet with Rune 2014-jan-17
