3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 RexTalionis (1425) - FINLAND - APR 27, 2013
Pours hazy amber in color with a small whitish head. Some horseblanket, a bit of old vinegar and notes of light sourness in aroma. Doesn’t feel that aggressive, which is a bit of a shame. Tart mouthfeel nontheless, some apples and a bit of some wooden notes in taste. Something is missing in this version, not as good as the bottled one, seems a bit tamed that’s all. Sure the tartness and sourness is there, but it just doesn’t feel that refreshing and tasty on the whole.
