3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tried this one at the opening of the brewery, but didn’t like it at all. I really don’t like cold geuze. I prefer the bottled ones, this will become a good geuze blender.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From tap at Moeder Lambic. Pours almost clear and golden yellow with a two finger tall white head. Aroma is mild citrusy and crisp horseblanket brettish. Acidic, light fruity and dry flavoured. Bitter, citric and smooth dry finish.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
A: The pour is a cloudy golden amber color with a finger of dense white head.
S: Smells fairly funky. Lots of different earthy funk notes like grass, dirt, and mushrooms. There is a nice tartness to it, though it is not all that pronounced. Mostly just lemon zest with a touch of green apple.
T: Like the aroma, heavy on the grass and earth funk characteristics. Some lemon zest and green apple sourness, but nothing overpowering. There is a light sweetness to it as well, maybe peaches?
M: Medium bodied with full, rolling carbonation.
O: I liked this, but the bottled version certainly seemed to be better to me.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours hazy gold with tight head and decent retention. Aroma is farty, spicy yeast, green apple sourness, and barnyard. Taste is puckeringly sour with hints of spice. Body is light with very high carbonation and a dry finish. Overall, very good but kind of lackluster as I had a draft pour of the immensely superior Cantillon Geuze right before :/

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at local option... Pours a semi-bright, a little hazy, peachy brown hue and topped with a thin snow white head... Aroma is quite young and acidic with a very lighter funk quality to it but not as assertive as some of my preferred queuzes. Bright puckering and young and the sour is easily sensed In this one... Bright sour, lightly funked with a light grass on the backend and finishes with a bit of lackluster as the flavor drops off rather quickly. Adequately tasty but enjoyment is somewhat shortlived, much akin to the actual flavor.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: OCT 1, 2011 Draft...dark gold, off white head, nice ring... Light and simple nose, but its really nice, very farmy, straw, spider webs a bit of a sweet note as well... Taste is nice as well, on the farmy side again, wish it was more tart though, doesn’t bring anything new but its very solid

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: AUG 20, 2012 pours a very nice light gold color with a good and foamy head.
Excellent aromas of sour oranges, pears, funk tones and some various spices as well. Good depth on the nose with nice complexity.
lighter feel with good flavors and mostly sour oranges and funk tones with some spices.
a really good geuze. Very well balanced on both the nose and palate with just the right amount of funk to it as well.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at City Beer Store. Pours a hazy light amber with a small white head. The aroma is light barnyard funk, some light lemon, grapefruit, hay, wheat, and a bit of oak. Not terribly complex with the flavors being much lighter than in some other lambics. The initial taste is lemon, going into a bit of funky oak, some light grapefruit, and some hay. A brett funkiness on the finish with a light tartness. Light mouthfeel with low carbonation. You can definitely tell this is younger lambic than most gueuzes. I’ll be curious to try Tilquin gueuzes made from 3 year lambic. This was enjoyable, but not quite in the class of the great gueuzes.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
24/09/2011 Open Baladin Roma (tap). Dorata, lievemente torbida, poca schiuma biancastra, morbida e poco persistente.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
It pours light honey amber with a light bubbly white head. The aroma is light sweet candy notes complemented and taken over by the funkand sour notes of the gueze style. The flavor is mellow, balanced, and just the right amount of light juicy tartness to end on the palate pleasantly.
