4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
I’ve enjoyed this beer at the IMBC and at Moeder Lambic in Fontainas, Brussels.
AROMA: Lemongrass, very light easy, floral, barnyard.
APPEARANCE: Very light bodied, straw coloured. Light and wispy head.
TASTE: A lighter version of the bottle version let’s say. A little less complex. Gorgeous sour yet without being overly complex if that makes sense? It’s a cracking idea and concept.
PALATE: Quenching, watery, salty, lasting.
OVERALL: For me this is the ultimate session Gueuze and my intro to the blendery at the IMBC 2015 and I’ve since fallen in love. Top quality Gueuze for the everyday. I wish this was in every pub.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On-tap in De Bierboom for the 4th International Beer Swap on 5th Feb 2016. Almost clear pour, golden in colour with a wispy head. Sour apples in the aroma and tart taste. Not too intense like the stronger, bottled version, this is almost enjoyable and drinkable.

Draft at The Avenue Pub, New Orleans. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is funk, green apple, and fruity. Similar taste as aroma, fairly sour. Picked up something like burnt malt, though. Not bad.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma: not sure -- perhaps old beer bottles? Appearance: straw with billowy head that dissipates quickly; Taste: sour; tastes better than the smell; similar to Saison Brett but more funky; Chardonnay-like; Palate: medium body with dry, grapey finish; Overall: not my favorite.
