Tap @ BBF14. Pours hazy amber with a small white head. Aromas of tart green apples, citric, slight vinegar, barnyard and funk. Taste is very sour up front, green apples and more vinegar, funk, straw and hay.

Has a fine gueuze aroma with sour lemon and hay funk. Great head and a good foggy copper with slight carbonation. Flavour is a nice sour citrus and grass, mighty refreshing. Dry finish. It’s a great gueuze and a joy to try one like this again.

Mother Kelly’s. Keg. Hazy gold amber beer, a thin and short lived cream colour head. Palate is dry and mildly crisp. A nice lemony wet wood thing kicks off, not to sour - nice. But the back end ruins it with a distinctly soapy and over dry finish. Bleh! Gave the rest of my glass to someone else.

25cl draught at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels (Belgium). Hay, golden, yellow gueuze, with hazy appearance and bright foam. A little funk, tart, with exceptional taste: Fruity, citrus, even lemon. A sweet gueuze, very sweet even. Not my favorite, nonetheless a classic drink.
