Bottle. Clear brown, low offwhite head Spicy dry aroma, typical weissbier clove notes dominate, subtle coffee notes as it warms up. Fairly typical dunkelweizen flavor notes fruit, dry spices, maybe a bit more roasted notes than usual. Medium body, dry mouthfeel. Dry roast and metal aftertaste. Not bad, but could be slightly more exiting with a more pronounced coffee flavor.

Bottle@Home. Citrus aroma with coffee background. Dark brown, beige head, few lace. Sweet, coffee liquor, hint of banana, not strong in coffee but it’s there. Medium body, sticky. Bit candy-like but less bad than expected.

Thanks to jonas for that one. Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass very dark, almost black, nice head. Malty-dry aroma. Starts very malty, quite roasty, modest sweet, light coffee notes. Malty-yeasty finish, very soft. Coffee notes could be more intense, but still a great beer!

Bottle (excavated by Joss!): Clear, chestnut-amber coloured, smaller off-white foam, sweetish toasty-wheaty nose with a faint tart coffeeish background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; shorter wheaty to dark-malty finish. Quite an average Dunkelweizen, nothing special...
