4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
33 cl bottle. Pours somewhat clear at first. Big sediment on bottom gives a hazed look at the end of the pour. good head, and really good lacing for a low abv beer. Aroma is dank herbal, citrus, weed, light toast, grass, hay, and some citrus notes hops. Flavor is mad dankness, citrus, big weedy hop character, filled with some straw and hay, with surprisingly good big maltiness for such a low abv beer. 2.5% seems crazy. And I think it must be more, but this stuff is amazing for its strength. Love it! Im going to buy a shit load more to bring back to the US to share immediately with my friends.

In short: A yeasty and very hoppy (grassy, herbal, lemony) small blonde ale. A tasty and highly drinkable little beer.
How: A few 330ml bottles here and there while I was in Spain, always consumed fresh, usually the same day I purchased the bottles.
The look: Cloudy dark blonde body topped by a medium white head.
In long: Nose is citric hops with a grassy spicy twist. Not the most aromatic aroma but for a below 3% brew it is obviously quite hoppy. Body is far from watery, a lively carbonation, a very fluffy texture. Taste has discreet malts with a body that feels more yeasty than malty. Hops flavor are more herbal-grassy than in the aroma with still a nice spicy twist and lemon zests. Because it is so yeasty it is not as refreshing as some of my favorite hoppy low-alchol thirst quencher but it was still a go-to beer during hot days for the one month I had access to fresh bottles. While in Spain I had a few of those light 2.8% Guineu Riner ales and I spent the rest of the day looking at my stomach waiting for my abs to appear.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
(33 cl bottle from 2D2D Tienda; Bbd: January 2015; Bottles #1547 and 1552; Lot: 323) Pours a semi-hazy golden with medium white head. Good retention and beautiful lacework. The aroma is strangely disappointing: To the extent that I get hops it’s of a citrusy character. Other than that I get hints of beeswax, tropical fruit and perhaps a bit of sodapop or candy. Oily texture, impressively medium body for the abv, lively carbonation and a minty, drying finish. Flavour has the hops coming through well even if in my opinion they are less clearly defined than in for example the Havgus. Nice and refreshing beer with pleasant hop flavour nevertheless.
