Well Bon provided the bottle and I told my wife to get me something but not to show me the bottle. I knew it was one of six stouts in the fridge but.....you get the picture. medium plus bodies and pours a photon eating stout. Chewy choco-maltiness. some cereal in the biting nose. Finish is dry and fast. A nice stout. TheBeerOrg (1576), Kentucky, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 23, 2009 Deep ruby tinted brown, would pass for black at a quick glance. Pretty nitro head. Aroma was roasty malt, not much else. Flavor was lightly coffee accented malts, with a pleasant nuttiness present that set it apart from they "typical" Guinness. Not bad, and probably deserving of a better rating than my numbers here indicate. Almost forgot to rate this one! On tap at a random irish pub in Atlanta. zathrus13 (1296), Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA

Some roast aroma. Small beige head. Black smooth on the palate and a little spicy with a hint of bitterness in a crisp and dry roast finish. SpencerDB (43), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Nov 15, 2009 More hoppy than the guinness draught and more of a dark ruby pour than the original but similar flavors. Malty with not quite as much of the caramel/coffee flavors. Enjoyable Ron (1014), Rochester, New York, USA

Its not as "stout" as regular Guinness, but it’s a decent stout none the less. It’s pours black with a decent foamy head that lingers. Flavor is of roasted sweet malts. Aroma is nice, this is a very drinkable brew!
