Draft at Paddy Murphy’s in Baldwin Park, Orlando. Pours a slightly translucent dark mahogany color with a creamy, khaki colored head that settles quickly. Runny lacing mostly rejoins the body, scant spots escaping the recession. The nose is rather mild, notes of roasted grain, dark cocoa malt, and hints of lactose the only real elements to come forward. There might be a trace of light coffee in there. Flavors follow suit, roasted barley malt dominating, with secondary notes of dry cocoa and scorched caramel. Medium bodied, smooth, and creamy, the brew is at least sessionable, Honestly, I can’t tell much of a difference between this and regular Guinness. Decent session standby when there are no better options.

TAP: I heard it was regular Guinness except on CO2 instead of nitrogen. Seems about accurate to me - mouthfeel is probably a little thinner and the taste is a little crisper due to the carbonation. Not bad, not great, I could drink a few of these.

Dark in color with a small head. Aroma is roasty and stronger than the light Guinness aroma I am used to. Taste is bitter roast and not that great to drink.

This tasted so similar to their regular stout that I didn’t even notice. Its an easy drinking brew that just seems to disappear, which I guess is a good thing.

Bottle (11.2oz) courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours an insanely bubbly dark brown with a large frothy/fizzy tan head. If it doesn’t even look as good as regular Guinness then we aren’t off to a good start. Man that’s bubbly, I’ve never seen anything like it! Slightly mild, dry aroma of light dark chocolate, lightly roasted and biscuity malt along with hints of coffee and hops. Slightly watery flavour of roasted malt, light dark chocolate, nuts and some light coffee and hops in the finish -- very easy to drink, I drank this puppy fast! Thin to average bodied, fizzy/creamy mouthfeel. Not awesome or anything but it was better then I expected, I’d happily drink several of these again.

The beer poured a very dark brown/black with red highlights, almost no head and lacing. The aroma was lightly roasty, slight caramel, and malty. The flavor was malty, hint of chocolate, roast, and smoke. The palate was medium to full bodied with creamy texture, though I found it to be of similar watery-ness as regular Guinness.

Pours a deep mahogany with a medium beige head that quickly diminishes. Aroma of roasted malt, toasted grain, cocoa, and some coffee. Flavor of roasted malt, cocoa, and hops (earthy) with a somewhat thin, well carbonated mouthfeel and moderately bitter finish.
