3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with off white head. Aroma is roasty as hell. Flavor is rich and malty with dark chocolate cocoa overtones and maybe a bit of bitter coffee to it. Finish is dry and roasty and faintly bitter. After having 6 of these I will attest that it is a large improvement over the standard offering in the flavor department, if not the mouthfeel. A little nitro would help this watery dry stout to reach a creamy goodness....I think. Not bad stuff, glad I got it on sale though.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle - no idea where it came from. Pours clear brown with a large beige creamy head that laces nicely. Aroma is very malty - roasted with molasses. Flavor is medium sweet, roasted malt, a bit of chocolate, raisin, some citric notes. Finish is very lightly bitter, lemon rind, dry. Body is light and watery. Seems more like brown ale than a stout to me.

Not quite good old guineas but was still good never understood the angst at this brew. It wasn't like coke and they changed the whole recipe.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pretty good. The nose is roasty with coffee and toffee notes, perhaps a touch of chocolate. The beer is transparent black with a tan foam head. The taste is coffee and roast malt with notes of toffee and a light bitter touch. Smooth and fuller bodied. A lot like traditional draught, but with some additional complexity and a fuller body.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
A cola colored beer with a tan head. Coffee bean and burnt toast malts in the nose. Sweet with coffee grounds and a bit of toffee. Not the beer I wanted it to be but still a nice brew.
