Bottle 330ml. Poured extremely dark brown (virtually black) with a large, dense, frothy (virtually creamy), lightly tanned head which lasted extremely well. Aroma was of toasted malts with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, a touch of liquorice and hints of blueberries & blackberries. Flavor was smooth with a mild earthy hop bitterness, roasted malts, toast, lactic/sour milk notes (pleasant), nuts and light notes of ash in the finish. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation, a dry mouthfeel, watery texture and a decent length finish. Cant help but think this is very similar to the regular Guinness (with the exception of the slightly increased alcohol content and no widget in the bottle).

On tap some 2 years ago. It pours black with a rocky, off-white head Smells of toast, caramel, and a little yeast Flavor is some chocolate, with a little sweetness. thin feel, lightly carbonated, with bittersweet finish.

Bottle - no idea where it came from. Pours clear brown with a large beige creamy head that laces nicely. Aroma is very malty - roasted with molasses. Flavor is medium sweet, roasted malt, a bit of chocolate, raisin, some citric notes. Finish is very lightly bitter, lemon rind, dry. Body is light and watery. Seems more like brown ale than a stout to me.

Not quite good old guineas but was still good never understood the angst at this brew. It wasn't like coke and they changed the whole recipe. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pretty good. The nose is roasty with coffee and toffee notes, perhaps a touch of chocolate. The beer is transparent black with a tan foam head. The taste is coffee and roast malt with notes of toffee and a light bitter touch. Smooth and fuller bodied. A lot like traditional draught, but with some additional complexity and a fuller body.

A cola colored beer with a tan head. Coffee bean and burnt toast malts in the nose. Sweet with coffee grounds and a bit of toffee. Not the beer I wanted it to be but still a nice brew.

Rich black color; Medium creamy body; Aroma of toasted malt, light cocoa, & some coffee; Flavor of roasted malt, caramel, hops, and coffee; Finish is slightly bitter; Overall, fuller bodied - but still prefer standard Guinness.

Bottle dated Feb 2010 from Ange’s house. Drank out of the bottle. Fairly sweet with low carbonation and a slick mouth feel. Not actually too bad in any way. A lot of vanilla and mocha tones. Definitely drinkable

Pours well with a good head but I expected a little more of a malty flavor, still good but not great.
