UPDATED: AUG 2, 2016 Looking at the comments below it?s obvious that fanboys are mistakenly reviewing this as the flagship full-strength version. It isn?t. This weaker draught version looks and pours like regular strength Guinness only it?s thinner bodied and watery. It still has the characteristics but they?re all subdued. Flatter. Creamy nitro head. Aroma of burnt woods and roasted notes. Chestnut, wood and roasted malt on a thin watery body. Not good. If you can?t handle regular Guinness then I?m not sure what you?d get out of drinking this version. Who is the target consumer?

Colasvart med høyt tykt beige skum som ligger hele veien. Luktet fløte, kakaopulver, mørk sjokolade og kaffe. Lett. Vannete smak med noe kakaopulver og svært lett bitterhet. Kort.

*Can from Hemköp in Stockholm. Nice malty-dry beginning. A bit thinner than the "normal" Guinness, but refreshing. Dry malty body with roasted hints over a bit watery body. Refreshing dry malty aftertaste. Nice.

Can. Poured into a shaker glass. Black with tan head. Virtually no aroma. Flavor of roasted malts and some coffee notes. Probably too cold to pick up anything special.

Black, slow settling tanned creamed foam head, lasting and lacing. Small aroma (muffled by foam probably), nice chocolate, coffee taste. Little bitter. (Chicago 201510)

One of the most popular stouts can be procured is undoubtedly Guinness. Its eternally beautiful foam has always impressed me. The scent is limited, but a little malt can be tasted. Taste is characterized by English licorice aftertaste good hoppy and long. Although the market for stouts is crazy big with this classic among the rest. It is in a class by itself without being flashy.
