Svesse (1492), Hässelby, Sweden May 10, 2008 (Can) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Roasted, malty nose with freshly ground coffee and notes of ashes. Roasted, malty taste with cold black coffee, ashes and notes of cocoa bitterness in the dry finish. Thin body, watery mouthfeel. Dry. Very much in line with the original, but thinner. Not bad at all.
gam (451), brisbane, Australia Dec 18, 2007 I found this to be a little more watery than Guinness Original, tasteswere not as sharp. It had slight sourness though not serios.Aroma was malty and it was creamy like in taste to drink so fairly pleasant, left a chocolaty bitter taste to finish. yespr (5394), Copenhagen O, Denmark Dec 14, 2007 From bottle, no 5 at Papsoes blindtasting. Pours dark brown with a reddish hue and a lacing off-white head. Roasted malt aroma and with a mild chocolate note. No carbonation. Flavour is dry chocolate flavoured and dry malty, roasted. Finish holds a solid bitterness lingering on top of the roasted malt.
