On tap at O’neills in Peterborough - A lovely creamy Guinness. If Guinness is not on form it can taste very strongly of burnt malt but on form (which this pint was) it has a lovely creamy flavour and is extremely palatable.

keg at anywhere. No denying, this beer looks great. very dark brown with a full creamy head. raisins and fruit on the nose, slight roastiness. dry palate, roasty nuttiness and some sort of fig. its just ok. nothing awful, nothing brilliant.

Pint at the Goose in Bracknell. Creamy cream coloured head on a black beer. The head hangs around for quite a while. Bitter taste with a bit of coffe. Also a hint of sweetness. Smells alright, but give any details due to the smell of fish and chips from a nearby table! Alright stout, although probably not kept as well as it could be at this venue.

A lot of barley and a bit of bitterness as well but overall not a very exciting or remarkable brew.

Drank extra stout for years before getting to Dublin where i discovered the milky quality of draft Guinness. Hard to put down

Pour is jet black with a light tan head. Nose is of light chocolate and coffee notes. Taste is the same and very light on the palate.

UPDATED: AUG 10, 2011 Nice nitrous body, smooth taste throughout, burnt malty body. The mouthfeel is less than most micro brew stouts.
