One of the most beautiful beers in glass, but its taste is highly overrated. I do like it, but it seems to lack the consistency of other beers, the conditions need to be just right for Guinness to taste great. Overall its good, but does not live up to its hype.

This was the first stout I ever tried and the only for a very long time, and to me its what I compare all others to. This is truly one of the best looking beers there is blacker then black and a thick creamy head. It has very little aroma but what can be smelt is coffee, the mouth feel is a bit light for a stout and very goes down smooth. I like the fact that the taste isn’t over powering like some stouts its just the right balance of bitterness and flavor that makes very drinkable. There are better and higher quality stouts but you just can’t go wrong with this one.

I think my first time drinking this out of a Nitro can, so I thought I’d rate it. Attractive black can. Serve extra cold, it says. It also lists the calorie count based on 12 ounces (it’s a 16 ounce can). Nice aroma. The cascading pour is worth the price of admission, but I don’t think nitro cans accurately mimic draft texture. Taste is thin with slight roast. Dry. Better on tap, though even then it’s not my fave.

I think there’s nothing quite as lovely as the cascading, dark brown head on a freshly poured pint of Guinness. The flavor only enhances the experience - rich, deep flavors, somewhat bitter, somewhat sweet, and it simply coats your mouth. God Bless Arthur Guinness!

yummmmmmmmmmmmm. Guinness is a great beer. My favorite beer to go with a meal . Very Creamy, some smokey/chocolatey taste going on as well. Gotta love this beer bottom line

11.2 fl oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours almost black with about one finger tan head. Nose is very subtle, sort of a grainy malt scent. Very roasty flavor with some bitterness. Short bitter finish.

pint of extra cold draught Guinness. Aroma was negligble. very nice appearance with lacing lingering on the glass and cream head. coffee flavours and distinctive bitterness. Decent draught stout.
